What if the world is a song
and one note is missing?
What if a horn could restore harmony
or destroy the earth?

All things in the material world are forms of energy. Swords, castles, and stars are all made of vibrations, they are all parts of a musical realm we are scarcely aware of. What if all things in creation are like chords in a song and one note is lost? The law of conservation states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but what if it is corrupted? What if a horn could restore the harmony that was lost or destroy the earth.

The Story

When trolls threaten the elves, defying the curse of wood that barred them from entering the elven forest, the elves are baffled. Then they must take up their swords when it seems that men will annihilate them with sorcery. Knowing that all sorcery comes from Runes that were carved ages ago, Efkin, a young elf lord, races to find and destroy the hidden Runes before all is lost. He sets out to recover the horn of his ancestors that ages ago summoned the forces that shaped the world. Only the horn has the power to break the Runes. He journeys into the east where at last he uncovers the secret of the Runes, but he comes too close to the heart of sorcery and does not dare blow the horn. If he is tainted by the poison of the Runes the horn will sound a ruinous note that could spell the end of the earth.
